A Minnesota teacher named Jim Salava, 40, was became the recipient of $1000, a family cruise, and a lifetime pass to a theme park after lasting 20 hours on a carnival ride.The competition began with 10 riders on the Avatar Airbender, which averages 43mph and reaches a top hight of about 70ft.
Except for bathroom and meal breaks, the contestants remained on the ride all the time even during sleep.
Personally speaking, I am not a very big fan of carnival rides, but whatever the case, Mr. Salava is a truly daring man. I probably wouldn't last any more than a few times.
